Stainless steel grade 316LN is an austenitic type of steel that is a low carbon, nitrogen-enhanced version of grade 316 steel. The nitrogen content in this steel provides solid solution hardening, and raises its minimum specified yield strength. It also possesses good resistance to general corrosion and pitting/crevice corrosion. Flange nuts, also known as washer nuts, toothed nuts, hexagonal flange nuts, flange nuts, etc., are mostly used in pipe connections or workpieces that need to increase the contact surface of the nut. The fastening performance of flange nuts is much better than that of hexagonal nuts, so flange nuts are required to be used on many screws and bolts. Because one end of the flange has a toothed circular flange surface, it is widely used in the industrial field.
