Product Description

310S is an AOD melted austenitic stainless steel with high chromium and nickel content. This alloy has excellent resistance to oxidation at high temperatures making it suitable for furnace rails and dunnage. This grade is used often in carburizing atmospheres that are common in petrochemical industries.Grade 310S stainless steel (1.4845) is one of the most widely used grades of heat-resistant stainless steel supplied to numerous industry sectors. The key properties of this material are its high chromium and medium nickel content making its resistance to oxidation, sulfidation, and other forms of hot corrosion its main characteristics. Whilst retaining good strength when exposed to high temperatures, like most austenitic grades this grade will also maintain its strength and toughness at sub-zero temperatures. Overall this grade is an excellent choice for various applications ranging from furnace components to burner tips. 310 / 310S has a maximum dry air service temperature of 1100ºC.

The most common pipe fitting is a stainless steel pipe tee. Tees have two outlets at 90 degrees from the main flow and are used to combine or split fluid or gas flow. Tees connect and combine pipe systems or they can connect various size pipes together with reducing tees. A reducing tee can connect various sizes of pipes together in one pipe system.Reduction Tees are used to connect three pipe sections. The fitting has two parallel side ends with equal diameters as well as a reducing end that extends perpendicular from the midsection of the fitting.
